Our Ceremonies
Our Cacao Ceremonies started in the Autumn of 2019 and were born from three factors;
- our love for Cacao
- to curate special experiences with love and creativity
- to inspire individuals to fall in love with themselves
Cacao has been used within ancient Mayan traditions for spiritual and ceremonial purpose for thousands of years. The scientific name for Cacao is Theobroma Cacao which literally translates to ‘Food of the Gods.’
Cacao ceremonies are part of an ancient shamanic healing practice which incorporate the consumption of cacao as a plant medicine.
Unlike some Shamanic Plant Medicines, cacao is not hallucinogenic. It is a gentle yet powerful plant medicine, which opens the heart chakra and helps us to deepen connection with our higher self, our own power, truth and courage and helps us to let go of beliefs and stories which no longer serve us energetically.
In our ceremonies, whichever option you may decide upon, we particularly emphasise the importance of self-love, creating space for yourself and allowing yourself to honour and celebrate your soul. Sitting in a sacred circle with others is a very powerful experience, where we set intentions and share our dreams and our stories and talk about our fears and our blocks. It is very healing to share in a circle in this way, as it helps us to transcend our fears, reminding us that we are all interconnected, and nobody is truly a stranger. Holding space in these circles to support individuals on their personal journey gives us great joy, it is a service which we feel humbled and honoured to have the opportunity to be a part of.

Cacao
Cacao is a vasodilator that widens the blood vessels, increasing the flow of blood to the heart. Cacao is also rich in nutrients such as iron, magnesium and zinc and a rich source of flavanoids such as antioxidants.
Cacao is also known to contain a number of mood-boosting chemicals, such as dopamine and endorphin and also anandamide, which is known as the bliss molecule.

Participate in a group ceremony from the comfort of your own home. Our Cacao Ceremony kit will give you everything you need to participate in our virtual cacao ceremony. Select from a list of scheduled dates and join a live online ceremony, where you will be guided through the entire ceremony. Participation in a circle adds a powerful dimension to the experience. The music, sounds and singing throughout the ceremony are sure to mesmerise you.

Attend an in-person experience as part of an intimate circle of 8 participants. Everything you need will be provided to you and you will be welcomed into an opulent ceremonial tent where you shall be immersed in a loved-filled environment. The atmosphere will be infused with music, mantra, sounds, and fragranced with inscense, herbs and sacred plant resins to give you a truly divine experience. The evening will close with a nourishing vegan supper.
