Cocoon cacao ceremony experience

We are delighted to welcome you to the Cocoon Ceremony Experience.  We invite you to take a moment to give yourself some gratitude for creating the time and space for this experience. This ceremony is a celebration of your soul, so please enjoy taking time to create a sacred space, consider the entire set-up process as an act of self-love,  be slow, be mindful and infuse your  love and care into every aspect.

Your box contains 5 special things;  

• a packet containing your dose of ceremonial cacao
• a piece of Rose Quartz, to bring in unconditional love
• an intention thread, with Tibetan beads and a key to symbolise the doors that you are ready to unlock and open
• a peice of Palo Santo to open the ceremony and cleanse your space
• an infinite helping of our love

• create a small altar holding crystals and any symbolic items , which resonate with you
• place all the items from the box at your altar and decordate it with some garden flowers or foliage
• ensure you have headphones to optimise the experience for you
• have your last meal 3 hours prior to the ceremony
• place a glass of water on your altar
• place your favourite mug at the altar (you will drink cacao from this, later)
• a journal or notebook for you to write some reflections (you will be invited to write in your journal towards the end, should you wish to)

• prepare a space that is comfortable with blankets, cushions, rugs etc, as you will be invited to lie down during the guided Shamanic journey
• light scented candles and insense (please always exercise caution around the lit candles and incense)
• wear something comfortable

• unwrap the cacao, it may have natural patterns on it which arise from the butter and coconut sugar  element separating from the rest of the cacao, this is normal where chocolate has not been tempered (and we do not temper our ceremonial cacao blends) There is enough cacao within these squares to give you a 42g dose of pure ceremonial cacao.
• play a mantra of your choice during this process or a song that you connect to spiritually
• place the peices of cacao into a saucepan and pour 80ml of boiling water over them (no stove heat is required at this stage) and allow the cacao squares to melt
• place the saucepan on a low stove setting and add 40-60ml of your chosen nutmilk (or you can add water instead). If you need to thin it further, add more liquid to bring the drink to your preferred consistency. You can add cinammon and /or cardamon and rose petals, if you so desire
• whisk to ensure it is fully blended and heated through, pour the cacao into a flask to keep it warm
